Account Manager, Digital

Role Details 

The Account Manager, Digital will play a central role in leading key client accounts, providing guidance to junior members of staff who are direct reports, and supporting the overall growth of the business. 

You will be responsible for managing and delivering client accounts across integrated digital and marketing strategies. Activity will span the full marketing and PR mix  with a key focus on social media (paid and organic), website management and content, SEO, PPC, and email campaigns.  Strong copywriting abilities are essential and understanding of media relations is preferred.  

Where suitable you will work in partnership with the Senior Account Manager, PR and other team members to deliver activity. 

Key result areas 

  • Develop and execute creative client marketing strategies  
  • Create engaging content across the full marketing spectrum including social media posts, blogs, video, paid ads, and other content 
  • Build trusted relationships with clients
  • Deliver against agreed client objectives
  • Support the development of direct reports and others where required
  • Play an active role in business development activity: attending networking events, preparing proposals, attending pitches
  • Support the development of other business streams such as training, emergency response, and small business support

Job description 

Our digital world is evolving fast and becoming ever more complex. We need to be constantly on top of our game to ensure our tech-stack is delivering for our clients from understanding the role of AI to building smart PPC campaigns, SEO, website content, emailers, and paid and organic social media. Understanding how to combine these with engaging visuals, video, and copy is crucial.  

Not only will you be able to create great copy that ensures our clients stand out from the crowd across all channels, but you will also be a trusted, strategic advisor. You will play a key role in helping our ambitious clients to grow by building their brand reputation and engaging with their customers.

You will be a self-starter who is passionate about communications.  

A flair for creativity, strategic thinking and innovation is a given and you’ll know just how to build effective communications programmes that help our clients build sustained engagement with their target audiences. 

We take the time to understand what makes our clients tick so you will need to be business savvy with a good understanding of the key industries we’re active in.

Responsible for day-to-day client delivery, outstanding organisational skills, and an ability to manage multiple projects and support junior team members is essential.

Account Executive, Digital

Role Details
As an Account Executive working in the digital team be able to turn complex topics into engaging multi-format stories from blogs to video, photos to animation that will be shared across our clients’ channels from video and animation to blogs, e-guides, and social posts to spark engagement.

Reporting to our digital manager, you’ll play a key role in helping our clients spark connections with the right people with content that will be shared across paid and earned campaigns.

A marketing qualification or relevant experience is preferred.

Core activities include:
• Creating content (graphics, animation, images, video) for clients and Korero’s marketing channels.
• Writing and scheduling social media posts
• Writing blogs
• Creating email campaigns
• Managing clients’ website content and SEO activity
• Supporting the development of PPC campaigns
• Website development
